This past weekend our programming council and executive council traveled to Round Rock, TX for Zeta Days, where we joined all of the other Zeta Tau Alpha chapters of Texas. We listened to many speakers and alums talk about their memories of being a Zeta, as well as many other inspirational and motivational speeches. Also, there were many different vendors full of Zeta Tau Alpha t-shirts, jewelry, and much more that we could buy! It was such a great experience bonding with the other chapters. Our exec even stayed an extra day for executive council training, where we were able to meet in groups of our specific positions to exchange ideas and thoughts about how we could improve our individual chapter.

This past week was filled with so many fun Zeta events! On Wednesday, our Alum Relations Chair, Brooke McLeod, invited our Zeta Alums and current members to come to our chapter room to decorate Valentine's Day cards for the children at Cook's Children Hospital.
On Friday, our social chairs, Blaire Butler, Sarah McDermott and Colleen McCarthy planned a Super Bowl themed mixer for Zetas and the fraternity, Lamda Chi Alpha. It took place at Club Rain in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Everyone's costumes ranged from football players to cheerleaders to referees!
On Sunday, our lovely Sisterhood Chairs, Tiana Lewis and Katie Newville, rented out a room in the Sundance Square movie theater to watch the new movie, The Vow!
